Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Making Plays uses cookies and similar technologies on makingplays.ai, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They're widely used to make sites work, to remember your preferences, and to understand how a site is used. “Similar technologies” includes things like local storage and pixels that do comparable jobs.
2. How we use them
Our marketing site is deliberately light on cookies. We use only what's needed to serve and secure the site — we don't run advertising cookies, and we don't sell data collected through cookies.
Strictly necessary
These are essential to deliver the site securely and reliably (for example, basic security and load-balancing set by our hosting provider). They don't require consent because the site can't function properly without them.
3. Third-party cookies
Some features rely on third parties that may set their own cookies when you interact with them:
- Circle — when you sign in to or use the community and Plays, Circle sets cookies needed to run your account.
- Kit — if you visit a Kit-hosted resource or signup page, Kit may set cookies to operate its forms.
These cookies are governed by those providers' own cookie and privacy policies. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we'll update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
4. Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or remove them and warn you before they're set. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working. Browser help pages explain how to manage cookies for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
5. Do Not Track
Because we don't use tracking or advertising cookies, there's nothing for a “Do Not Track” browser signal to switch off here.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised.
